Post Doc Positions

We are looking for 2 post-doctoral fellows to begin in Fall 2017 (although start date is flexible for the right candidates). The lab conducts behavioral and neuroimaging studies in clinical & affective neuroscience, using a variety of analytical techniques. Two new grants focus (broadly) on stress, craving, and self-control, using meta-analyses of neuroimaging and behavioral data, and fMRI analyses that include connectivity, computational modeling, and machine learning, with a focus on individuals with substance use disorders (addictions). One project includes a close collaboration with Tor Wager’s lab at University of Colorado, Boulder. Other ongoing work focuses on food choice and mindfulness meditation, including randomized controlled trials testing the efficacy of novel interventions to improve eating, reduce smoking, etc.

A PhD in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, or related fields is required, along with strong computational/analytic skills. Interested applicants should contact me (hedy.kober@yale.edu) with a CV, a brief statement of interest, and names of 2-3 references. Please include “CANlab Post Doc position” in the title.
